Theivam thantha veedu is a tamil serial airing on Vijay tv. Directed by Nagaiya surendhiran, this serial tells the story of two cousins seetha and priya who are completely opposite to each others, seethe and priya gets married to Ram and Ravi respectively. Everybody in the family start to like seetha, therefore priya’s mother Banumathy gets jealous on her and plans to keep those couples away unfortunately Ram also starts to hate his wife seetha, snow war within the family starts here,
Priya mistakenly drops the soap piece into curry which they imprinted the keys of safe lockers since the original key holder is seetha. Before she gets ride off, seetha serves the curry to whole family, while they having their lunch, chithra finds that something difference in smell of the curry, she finds the issue and scolds Priya, in the night chithra’s mother meets chithra and sumithra, advices them to not always support their own daughter-in-law, and appoints chithra to supervise priya and sumithra to takecare of seetha. Priya’s telephone bill exceeds 3000rupees and chithra gets shocked and warns her. Priya gets a call from beauty barlor and the receptionist asks whether priya will come to the barlor or not.
Chithra gets angry on priya and tells her to do the all household works. Seetha asks to go to the barlor instead of priya. Priya tells that her plan got ruined and banumathy is let her know her plan B, which is about to make chithra’s to coma and steal the valuable from safety locker. She makes sweet drink called “Paayasam” and mixes some coma tablets, chithra sees the scene and gets doubt on priya. And order her to drink the whole paayasam, priya drops the glass in the floor and tells that she accidently drop it, then chithra asks her to clean the floor.
As their next plan, priya mixes the tablets in chappathi, except chithra all others have their supper, and banumathy plans to come and steal at night. They replaces the original safety box with a duplicated one, next day she tries to open the box with a guy who familiar with breaking locks, even he can’t open the lock. Banumathy takes a carton box and whole family get surprised, later she reveals that box got full of books inside the carton she hides and returns the safety box, priya dreams as she gets all of those jewelries.
