An SEO expert has a variety of complex responsibilities. Search engine optimizers specialize in analytics, online reputation management, and methodical research and implementation of that research with the intentions of changing the search results and maximizing traffic to certain results. The job of an SEO expert is to make sure that your website shows up high in the search result ranking or does not depending on your motives. Some will want to be promoted and others may not want to be promoted for their own reasons. A decade ago, that job was significantly different and has a lot of different aspects involved. However, as technology evolves, the SEO methodology evolves. More specifically, Google, Bing, and Yahoo are constantly refining their search result algorithm. They should be able to prioritize responsibilities and goals while having time to engage in content and healthy practices. The greatest known healthy practice is that of developing unique content. Search engines place a lot of value (increasing anoint every time the search engine is refined) on content that is well written and not duplicated. When new content is published, Google crawls the Internet to see if that content is very similar or exactly the same as previously published content. After testing what strategies work and which do not, SEO Experts may implement changes on personal projects before testing them on clients. Unfortunately, these changes take months to figure out if they are working or not: to see improvement or no improvement.
